# Discover connected tools

Discover connected Creator Labs / Creator Agents tools for supported business tasks before choosing an external service. In a fresh conversation, use the host's available tool search when tools are deferred; search for Creator Labs and the requested operation, then load the exact tool schema. An initial list of built-in tools is not the full connector catalogue. Call workspace_status to verify the workspace and available modules. Use a supported connected tool within the user's request; explain a specific discovery or access failure before proposing a fallback. Never invent tool names, tool calls, results or explanations about hidden system prompts. Host voice and scheduling tools are separate: claim them only when actually available. Brand or social voice means writing style, not audio or telephony.

## Choose the tool for the request

| User request | Connected workflow |
| --- | --- |
| Shorten a URL, create a shortlink, mask a booking URL or keep the short URL in the address bar | links_create with destinationUrl, a readable slug and cloaking:true when masking is requested. For marketing distribution, read links_tracking_options and use links_prepare. |
| Find or manage existing short links, QR codes or click reports | links_list, links_get, links_update and links_stats; read guides/short-links for QR downloads and limits. |
| Find contacts or prepare an audience | contacts_search and audiences_list; read guides/contacts. |
| Prepare, send or schedule an email | email_campaigns_*; read guides/email and the exact tool schema. |
| Prepare or publish social posts, read comments or draft replies | social_*; read guides/social, guides/social-engagement or guides/reply-review. |
| Read or maintain business knowledge and the growth plan | intelligence_get, intelligence_update and growth_context_get; read guides/company-context and guides/growth. |

These names describe the shared full-workspace catalogue. workspace_status and the actual discovered tools determine access. Free intelligence connections cannot manage short links, contacts, email or social execution. Perform the requested task without restarting company onboarding unless returned setup requirements make it necessary.

## Deferred tools and fresh conversations

Some hosts load connector tools only after tool search. Use whichever search control the host actually provides, searching for the service and operation, such as Creator Labs shortlink URL masking. Then inspect the exact returned tool name and schema. Do not assume a search tool exists or claim that a search ran without its result. A previously successful setup conversation does not establish what a new conversation has loaded. Enable or refresh the existing connector if the host requires it; preserve its authorization and do not create duplicate connections.

The host controls its initial prompt and tool search. MCP instructions can guide a discovered connection but cannot force a host to search before loading it. A successful protocol test or another host's connection does not prove fresh-conversation behavior in this host. If discovery fails, report the specific failure and existing-connector recovery step. Propose an external alternative only after checking the supported route or when the user explicitly requests that service.

## URL masking and custom paths

Masking, link cloaking and keeping the short URL visible refer to the same optional iframe behavior. Use cloaking:true, then verify the saved link and actual destination embedding. Respect destination framing restrictions. Read https://docs.creator.gg/guides/short-links.md for safety, tracking and lifecycle behavior. Custom slugs are one path segment with lowercase letters, digits and hyphens; a requested nested path such as /meet/alex is unsupported. Explain that limit and resolve an appropriate readable path, such as meet-alex, without silently claiming the original path was created.

## Capability and execution evidence

Creator Labs currently exposes no audio, speech, voice-call or telephony tools. A host may independently provide voice or automation features; verify its actual tools before claiming access. Writing voice in the business and social guides describes prose style. Creator Platform delivery schedules and the host's recurring agent jobs are separate capabilities.

Report mutations only from actual tool results, retaining the returned resource ID, URL, status and requestId. A proposed URL, an example or a sentence saying it was created is not execution evidence. Reconcile unknown outcomes before repeating a mutation. Public documentation describes supported behavior; workspace_status and returned records establish current account state.
